73 Roads in Selangor District Remain Closed Due to Flood While Cleanup is Ongoing

The heavy downpour that has been ongoing for the past two days (18 and 19 December 2021) has caused flash floods in areas all over Malaysia and caused many roads to be closed. Luckily, the rain has now stopped but has caused untold damage as well as displaced more than 30,000 people across Malaysia.

As of 10am on 20 December 2021, there were 73 roads that remain closed in these Selangor districts, NST reported.

Here is the list of roads that are affected by the floods.

Hulu Selangor

The authorities stated that the roads will be reopened once they have been cleared and it is deemed safe for the public to use. In the meantime, please avoid these roads and look for alternative routes while waiting for the all-clear.
