Get Ready for Dadi Cinema Opening Soon in Pavilion KL & Da Men Mall!

Many businesses, including cinemas, have been affected by the lockdowns imposed during the Covid-19 pandemic as they were not allowed to open during that period. However, as Malaysia has reached over 90% vaccinated adults and the economy is recovering, businesses have been allowed to slowly reopen.

While we have been binge-watching new series at home during this time or even rewatching movies, there’s nothing quite like enjoying a newly released movie via cinemas’ silver screens. After all, they have some of the best sound systems and the viewing experience is unlike any other. Ardent moviegoers will be excited to know that Dadi Cinema will be opening soon in Pavilion Kuala Lumpur and Da Men Mall.

Dadi Cinema will be taking over after Golden Screen Cinemas (GSC) in Pavilion KL ceased operations back in February 2020. In case you didn’t know, Dadi Cinema is one of the largest China-based cinema chains and they have been going strong for over a decade. With more than 500 outlets overseas, it’s safe to say that their halls will have some of the best cinematic experiences.

The branch in Pavilion KL will have at least four types of halls, namely StarMax, VIP, Giant Screen and Lil Star. Lil Star is Dadi’s kid-friendly cinema hall that comes equipped with playgrounds and cute seats, so you can bring your little ones to the movies and don’t have to worry that they will be disturbing other moviegoers.

Although Dadi Cinema has not confirmed when is the exact opening date, they have been updating their Facebook page regularly and just recently in October 2021, they mentioned that their cinemas are coming soon. They have also started hiring staff for their cinemas as well.

In the meantime, stay safe and always follow the SOPs when you’re out and about.
